Gordes, Provence

Gordes is on the Vaucluse plateau. I spent a week there, seeing the Abbey of Sénanque, the Bories village and the city of Avignon, 36km away. The Abbey of Sénanque is set in a deserted vllage. Monks still live in the Abbey. Lavendar is grown in the grounds. The Bories Village is a restored prehistoric or Gallic village.
